This is my first post in something that I know isn’t really a new topic by any stretch. This one bothered me because I figured I would see what was in the trending list today only to see my design… But not posted by me. I tis my design, my photos (my hand too), and just to add a bit of insult to injury it has more downloads than my same post nearly a month prior. The thief also posted my design in the most open license available while mine is more restricted.
In a case like this I can see that the people who have downloaded it from this a**hat will have free use over the design as they can not be expected to know, but will the downloads that this individual received be credited to my account under the new rules? I feel cheated after putting my own effort into the design, print and upload time only for some urchin to come along and profit off of my work.
I know when you post stuff online you will always deal with some bad ones, but this feels cheap and for the downloads of my design not to count towards me, this feels cheaper.
