I think I read this differently than you have.
Your conclusion was not what I came to.
It looks suspicious if accounts with the same IP address do so for financial gain. This was the problem MW suffered from significantly before all the big changes a couple of months ago.
There is nothing wrong with a child printing the models of a parent. Nothing in that action can be construed or misconstrued as anything other than it is.
A family member (or other connected parties within the same IP) providing boosts to another could easily be considered fraudulent even if that is not the intent.
This is why this was written. MW will endeavour to rule out fraud and allow boosts within the same IP providing normal behaviour of regular users is also attributed to those users.
I believe that is very generous. It will take far more work to determine legitimate vs illegitimate behaviour.
This is not what they said or even the outcome if that is your requirement.
What they said was “You do not penalise any users who share the same IP address” with a caveat “If you do boost members within that IP address, make sure you also do the other things associated with a normal community member”.
If you do not intend on boosting within the IP address, you have nothing to worry about. If you intend on boosting within the IP address, add comments, pictures, and typical activities of a good actor. The bad actors don’t have time for this as they are intent on doing it for profit.
From what little I know about you from the community, you have strong morals and would not abuse the system. This means even if you did boost, you would not get penalised as it would be obvious from your activities that you are one of the good actors.
