I donât know exactly what you mean here, but I think i gave a genuine response.
As i mentioned there is a huge amount of content, which is formatted in a AI style and I can imagine that not everyone can get the energy to read through this massive post.
For the audience it is not clear if this is AI generated or AI authored, although I mentioned that I did not see any untrue statements.
But you could have started with a small introduction (it is your first post on this community) instead of dropping this content with no reference at all.
I appreciate the time you invested in it, and I have done so myself a lot also. It is not as easy as a lot of people think (yes maybe for a square block). So I am trying to convince the community, that the solution is not as simple as most people think, and not just developed in a short time.
I fully agree with your layer ordering strategy, and it is a good start.
However, it still requires a lot of exceptions for edge cases that come into play when people start testing/using this on real life parts.
But as mentioned earlier, we have to start somewhere.
The development of single size nozzle slicers is already going on for decades.
Btw. I read your vision on the 0.2mm nozzle regarding heat creep and a possible solution for the H2C printer. The proposed solution is a very interesting one and easy to implement into the slicer imho.
Not so beneficial for me at the moment, as I have a H2D instead of an H2C.
That article has less of an AI feeling in my opinion ![]()
Great job!
I have a cheap TVOC meter, but I have the feeling that the sensor is not a very good one. Though I am not printing a lot of ASA, some good air quality readings are always welcome.
I hope you will be referencing the hardware also when it goes public.
Coming back to this, I fully agree also.
However, I think we first need a lot of UX knobs that allow users/testers to experiment and play with settings to find a proven process.
After that is stabilized, you can think of a UX that has a couple of toggles.
I believe the strategy of Bambu Labs is also to present something simple, but stable to use solution to the end customer.
And hopefully they will deliver some experimental stuff earlier, which only helps them getting feedback from the community, and gain momentum in the development of a full solution.
