Thank you, there are a couple of imperfections left to dial out the very top still has a small step on the last couple of layers and there are a couple of small irregularities in the hex.
I’m using a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle and upgraded gears, textured PEI plate cleaned with iso alcohol after every couple of prints, layers are 0.2.
The filament is Esun PETG in solid white, this batch was purchased form 3djake as they are cheapest at the moment, used to buy from 3dfilaprint here in the uk but they have closed, also straight from Esuns Amazon store if it’s on sale. I try not to spend more than £12 a roll.
Here’s the settings I’m using. Oh the k value is 0.017 and tuning retraction and Zhop are a must otherwise it prints like ■■■■!
Edit: forgot to mention that I have enabled the developer mode in settings to get the advanced settings tabs so I could tune the seam gaps and other bits. I also make all my profiles from scratch using things I print to calibrate as I mainly print large prints with a 0.8 nozzle. As a confession I have never printed a benchy or calibration cube.
