"You have requested to redeem Gift Card" change?

Congratulations, the first few seem so hard to get, with a bit of luck and a good wind behind you, it will speed up.

This is a massive joke. The one where BL laugh at us.

What on earth are they thinking people are doing since the last review?

They are dragging in those with few very points, middle of the road people and those with many double digit gift cards a week.

They clearly are not performing any proactive checks and I doubt they are running any real checks manually either. It isn’t lost on me that each review has taken exactly 5 days, no matter the day of the week it starts or ends or how busy they are, always 5 days.

A decent business with a competent set of management tools to proactively route out bad actors should be a basic requirement for any company.

BL took the different choice of reducing the total points for everyone blaming bad actors. Now, they are constantly harassing honest designers.

I already do this.

But, that doesn’t stop the stupidity of putting someone back in purgatory after 60 minutes, 6 hours or even two days.

What did they possibly do after being told all was good that time ago that they are now back in implying the is a reason to believe improper usage occurred.

It is sheer madness of ignorant logic.

THAT is one very interesting point that I also noticed.

i don’t see why so aggravated Malc, so many times we saw complaints about bad actors, now that they are more stringent and putting checks, complains as well… it’s like you’re owed money, but this is not a right, it’s a benefit, and makerworld / bambulab are entitled to run it however they see fit to protect their business, independently of our designs bringing them business, there is no contract and you post if you want, as that is the true for all repositories out there, and none provides the level of rewards we see here.

verifications happens across the board, printables reviews every single redemption request gets fully scrutinised.

if this will make bad actors stop posting on makerworld, i for one am happy that this checks happen - and they already did anyways, it was just that it was before redemption, instead of after and a little less often, but not by much

I don’t know if you purposely misread my post or the posts elsewhere, but, as I clearly stated each time…

My argument is the constant placing of proven decent people into the purgatory system.

Who proved them innocent? Bambu Lab, proved them innocent. Yet in my case 60 minutes after being proven by them I am a good actor, I’m now considered a bad actor again.

80 points were added in that 60 minutes.

If your argument is this is a reasonable check by BL, then you have also assume they are incompetent as they are suggesting their own previous checks were utterly useless as they are calling them questionable.

I pointed out this doesn’t stop bad actors and I also pointed out the only way they aim to get rid of bad actors is to proactively seek them out using algorithms that they clearly haven’t done or their favourite method reduce the offering to the good people to stop the bad people.

There is an agreement by both parties, we are required to agree to their terms and they offer a compensation for the effort undertaken. I assume you missed that some how.

You don’t have to be an apologist for them, but if you do, base it on what I wrote not on something I didn’t.

Maybe their tech doesn’t know how to use variables in crontab?

you certainly only understand what you want, and build your complaining rhetoric around it, good for you, i’ll not engage further, i’ll leave you with this, you can call me apologist all you want, i don’t really care, but if you’re so unhappy with this repository and it’s rewards system, delete all your models and move on to greener pastures, maybe create your own repository and reward system

You still don’t get it do you!

I want this place to be what it is advertised as, I want it to succeed.

Complaining about failures of that promise is the correct thing to do in the hopes they will finally listen.

Telling me to essentially shut up if I don’t like their failed promises and remove all my hard work is really ignorant.

Are you running round telling everyone else their legitimate issues are dumb and they should go away as you deem their concerns unworthy and unwarranted of action?

They idea that you think accepting their failures is a noble act is confusing.
