Z-Axis vibration (And other questions)

Hi there!

I’m a new owner of a X1-Carbon with AMS. Loving it so far. Did have a few questions for which i couldn’t find an answer yet so here i am.

What is the function of the Z-axis vibrating for a few seconds during bed leveling? I figured it might just be to make sure the load cells are working properly but it seems to repeat this step several times during the bed leveling process.

While we’re talking about the Z-axis, is there an easy way to physically level the bed? it seems to have gotten quite skewed during shipping (like 3-5 mm difference between the left and right side of the bed) it’s printing fine anyways due to the fantastic leveling system but this does effect the final flatness of my prints. so i would like to improve this.

Also, am i missing something or is there no way to adjust the print speed or flow rate mid-print? All i can adjust is temperatures.

Anyways, thanks for answering my questions in advance.

I 2nd this request. Flow settings everywhere would be nice. Overall during printing, in slicer for each feature(inner/outer walls, top/bottom, initial layer, infill etc.). cura has this option and I fail to see why it would be missing in Studio.

Hi, I’d also be interested to learn re how to manually level. I can say though that you can easily change the print speed after you started the print : on the Bambu Handy app just click on the extruder icon “100%” by default - you will get 4 speed options to choose from there.

Best,

A

Good catch! I totally overlooked that button. Assumed it was for adjusting the fan speeds .
Have you had any luck with releveling? i haven’t dared to try messing with it yet.
