Zits on ABS

Hi,
I’m trying to print (regular) ABS for the first time, and I’m using Bambu Lab ABS Silver.
Prints come out mostly fine, but I see this small bubbles/zits on them. They are really small but visible.

Nozzle Temp: 270c
Bed Temp: 90c
Chamber Temp: 65c

Other filaments are working fine, for example ABS-GF doesn’t have this problem:

I tried with other models, and it’s has the same issue. The purge line is also weird, looks “cooked”:

What do I do? Does this mean it’s wet or the nozzle temp too high?

very likely to be wet…

try dry it? if it still doesn’t work reduce retraction.

Thanks will do. I did try to dry it with my Creality Space PI but it failed :joy: I will try again. (Maybe I should buy AMS HT lol).

space pi is good enough for drying abs, if that did not help then i think you should reduce retraction (probably try a retraction tower and choose the lowest value?). filaments like silver/metalic … use special powder to add metalic shine and hence more susceptible of small zits.

It actually didn’t dry it. The dryer failed with an “error”.

In case someone comes here, it was due to wet filament. Dried for 7 hours at 65c and it’s silky smooth now.
