3D View Demo

This is a 3D reconstruction of a jet engine, built using cutting-edge Neural Rendering technology. It lets you explore the engine in detail, unlike traditional pictures or videos.

What do you think? Is this interactive 3D preview mode more engaging for you?
We’d love to hear more about your thoughts on this technology.

Like it. Makes the 3d Preview feel old fashioned

This looks great, it appears like a ghost ship through the mist.

Works perfectly on the iPad which is rare.

Zoomed viewing looks awesome.

Looks great - like the fact that it is fully rendered

All I can say is wow, looks amazing. I would love to be able to click on someone’s model and view it in high resolution!

Yes please, sign me up.

Question.

Is this something you are considering adding to all models and would it occur automatically without the designer needing to do anything significant or purchase to achieve?

This would be great especially if it allows you to change the colors to what you have in an AMS

It is really slick that it includes other hardware in the model like nuts and bolts. Chrystal clear rendering.

This looks like a photogrammetry scan of the physical object; i’m assuming this is related to the bambu 3D scanner that was started and paused maybe?

Ooh can I enable that rendering? I’d love to see how my models look and changing colours on the fly.

Are you gonna let us print our own version by providing the files we need?
It looks great and very accurate for a model!
Thanks for sharing!

on makerworld. They were also selling hardware kits on bambu but not sure if they still are.

The point of this post is about the 3D viewer, not the content, but since you’re interested it’s 2 things - a free model on Makerworld, and a hardware kit with all the nonprinted parts:
Part kit: Jet Engine Model Components Kit 006 | Bambu Lab US

Thank you for the information! Have a great weekend!

Would be great if we could get these kinds of results out of a phone/camera based 3D scanning app!

Looks like lidar? but really cool, i would love to see it come out on makerworld😁

Very amazing! Can’t wait to give it a try

Looks great but is slightly blurry.

When you zoom in full that is greater than 100% zoom.

I think it looks awesome.

I am waiting for them to say if this is a computer-processed image from a source STL/STEP/3MF (or whatever) or a 3D-camera-generated model.
