A1 Filament cutter noise

My filament cutter does this when its cutting any filament other than White PLA ( weird…) i have tried 3 rolls of white and it has no problems with cutting the white filament. but cutting any other PLA filament ( i tried 7 other colors both opened and newly opened and it makes this noise. How can i fix it?
what i have done so far:

  1. I got the printer last week and have only printed about a kilo of filament. but i still saw some chipping damage on the cutter blade so i replaced it.
  2. Tried loads of other pla filaments. only white succeeded
  3. Checked for any loose screws in the probe assembly on the right and the extruder lever itself. found none.
    Video : 20241118_171728.mp4 - Google Drive
It looks like when you are cutting a carrot with a blunt knife. it makes the thud sound when it finally cuts it. If i let this bending happen im afraid the probe might snap as its plastic. I use ams lite

Any help is hugely appreciated.

I think it’s normal at least for me I have the same thing where just certain filaments are squeaky when it cuts them most are not though

Have you referred the the video? the right probe moving is the part scaring me. I saw on youtube a guy’s right assembley cracked due to such same pressure i assume

Okay yeah mine doesn’t make that noise. It makes a squeak generally though most don’t make any noise

It didnt make this noise uptill a day ago. im using the same brand filament for all colors. Hoping to find a solution soon

I saw your reply on Reddit! I’m having the same issue. I contacted Bambu support and I think they’re sending me a new X-axis cover. So when that comes in, I’ll try replacing it and see if that fixes it. But I’m not sure what else it could be.

Sadly i have bought mine through a reseller. as bambulab dosent support india. My reseller hasnt been the best in troubleshooting. ( my original a1 arrived broken and they took 17 days to just acknowledge the damage, then a replacement after 6 more days ) .

anyways i have contacted both bambulab and my reseller and no response yet.

I appreciate the response! but as I mentioned in point 1, i have already replaced it with the replacement

From a personal perspective id check my instaltion , after speaking to support first , it sounds blunt or incorrectly fitted , any kind of error message ?

I have replaced the blade as per the guide has said. but it dosent hurt to try again. i will take a look at it

Strange, this sound only happens for me when I use PETG. But aslong as the function is still there I would just accept it

Replacing the blade again. I face the same issue

Im afraid something might snap after some time because its flexing in the video i sent

Have the same issue from a 2 weeks old A1…Not sure if its the toolhead position or the housing of the probe. I would like to know what bambu says about it. Def this will break something after some time.

I have a ticket but havent receieved any response from 50 hours so im still waiting on it. Please do share information if anyone gets any leads from bambu about this problem

They just shipped me a new X-Axis cover so I’m going to replace it when it arrives and I will let you know if that fixes/improves the issues.
