Its also happening on my A1, now usually I unload the filament before I turn it off to store properly, but yesterday I was doing a multipart print and decided to leave the filament in to continue the next day.
When I go to start the print it loads the already loaded filament and asks for confirmation.
This doesn’t affect me hugely but it would be nice if they could fix it in a firmware update.
Same problem on my A1 mini. Thanks for the suggested solution to downgrade the firmware. I will do this and wait till this new feature will be a selectable option that can be switched off. I agree that it should not be a hardware warning
I opened a ticket with Bambu Lab for this and they say “This is normal behavior for the current version.”, although I’m not really sure whether they actually escalated the case to the relevant team/person. I suggested them to add a new switch to the print options in display UI to enable/disable this behavior. Let’s see how this situation unfolds.
The same goes for my A1, no amount of changing the settings helps, filament is wasted and I have to manually confirm every first print of the day.
Rolling back to the previous version, seems to fix that. Curious to see if in the next update, they fix it.
I also have this issue on my A1 Mini with the latest firmware. What I find weird about it is that this issue only started a few days ago even though I’ve had the latest firmware installed for weeks now. I also print with a custom Bambu PLA profile. Haven’t noticed it with eSUN or SUNLU filaments, have to check that out again.
Exact same thing with my A1 Mini. And it’s frustrating.
They say they are working on a fix but haven’t got an estimated time yet

Just logged it as an issue with support and cited this forum post to show how many people are annoyed as this ”new feature”! Hopefully they’ll fix it soon! Fingers crossed.
Same issue, every time I download a new print it says push new filament. Please fix this bug. Glad I am not the only one. Just fix the bug.
I have a fix!
Bambu support suggested: “Change the AMS type from AMS lite to AMS/AMS 2.”
I did this via the A1 Mini on screen settings menu and restarted the machine and it didn’t prompt me to purge! - I did have to unload filament > change to AMS2 > reload filament, but if it’s just the once, I’m a lot happier.
I asked them for when the new firmware would be ready and they said “Regarding the update schedule, as further testing is required, we are unable to provide a specific time at this moment. We are working hard to refine the firmware and ask for your patience; thank you for your understanding and support.“

Same issue here, it wants to confirm in every print after the firmware update. A1, not mini, no AMS. So much waste
Also, since the latest firmware update, on my A1, every time I power up and turn on my printer it wants me to push the filament through, yet I have not changed the filament or requested it. Then it goes through the purge process. As long as I don’t turn off the power it will not do it again. Every print it goes through its normal cycle which is not a problem. Certainly, is a bug and very annoying.

Can I load the old firmware back into it?
If you saved the old firmware as a file, you can restore it. I have done this myself many times as well.
Same issue on my A1, very annoying. Downgraded do 1.08.00.00 and works fine. I hope it’ll be fixed/changed in the next updates
