I was having this same issue. I popped off the plate and saw there was a small bit of melted PLA squished underneath it. I flicked it off, replaced the plate, and it fixed the issue.

Tried this, popped open the assembly and tightened screws Unfortunately, no luck; the bed leveling cycle threw the same error.

Sure enough! Checked and there was a tiny speck of plastic (paper clip for scale). Thank you so much! [IMG_4977]
