Important
This firmware requires the new AMS Hub accessory if you wish to use it with the AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT. A link will be added to this page once available.
New Features:
Added support for AMS, AMS 2 Pro, and AMS HT.
This feature requires Bambu Handy version 3.8.0 or later and Bambu Studio version 2.3.0 or later.
Before connecting, go to Settings → AMS Options → AMS Type to select the corresponding AMS model you are using.
Note: Mixing AMS Lite with other AMS types is not supported.
Feature Optimizations:
Fixed false blinking issue of the AMS Lite indicator.
Improved filament settings UI for better user experience.
Known Issues:
When starting a new print from the SD Card, the printer will not check the nozzle size.
When the printer is connected to AMS, AMS 2 Pro, or AMS HT, it is not possible to perform a local firmware update. Online update are possible.
Certain features may be unavailable when using Bambu Handy versions older than 3.7.0. An update will be available in the following days.
If it shows up as out of stock for your region, please use the “notify me when available” option on the website to get an email when it returns back in stock.
Any word on when the AMS 2 Pro Purchase Page will be updated to include the new information about support for the A1?
Will there be an upgrade kit / bundle for A1 users to purchase?
As an A1 user myself I’m trying to decide whether to purchase the AMS 2 Pro and the A1 AMS hub separately now, or if I should wait until there’s a proper upgrade kit / bundle available for purchase…
I’ve never understood why people take a thing being out of stock as either a personal attack, some sort of conspiracy, or more likely, both.
Saw someone else today absolutely frothing because the filament someone used in a print they posted to Reddit was out of stock, leading to them attacking the poster and making all kinds of ridiculous claims.
A few days ago I saw multiple people losing their minds because a filament on a YouTuber’s favorite filaments vid was sold out lol.
So weird.
I don’t think I’ve ever felt an emotion stronger than “that sucks, guess I’m waiting” when encountering something I want being out of stock.
