Hey, just a quick message to say I updated my X1C to the latest version and I’m really impressed with the new layout of the UI. Everything feels snappier, the thumbnails are bigger, the fonts are bolder and it’s way nicer to navigate the menus.
“This new firmware is an absolute disaster. It’s so bad, it’s like someone designed it to make my life miserable. I’ve lost sleep, been having nightmares, and honestly, it’s pushed me to the brink. I can’t even begin to explain how frustrating it is. It’s like a nightmare I can’t wake up from, and I don’t know how anyone thought this was an ‘upgrade.’ This thing is a joke, and it’s driving me insane.”
I did the update yesterday - and now the first print is just starting on my X1C.
Is this just the first time - or do I now have the calibration every time that the print head vibrates up the tone scale? You can’t do that in the middle of the night
I also did the update, but I got a few unknown error messages which I have never seen before. Even runout of the filament produced an unknown error. Seems that soemthing is not finished yet. GUI is ok, but the runtime counter is is indicated in days now. What? Stupid idea! please change back to hours!!
Just checked mine and yes, you’re right - it seems it does the vibration calibration as part of the toolhead homing every time now. I’m not sure if it’s intentional or not…
