Does this image indicate I will get the circular lines at the top?
This is the dome of a stormtrooper helmet, printing on an A1 at .20mm standard.
I think you are concerned by the apparent strange shape shown towards the top of the dome.
It looks a visual illusion rather than reality.
The adaptive layer feature will not change the shape of the model.
It only changes the height of some layers.
You could zoom in and tilt the plate to see the correct circular shape.
If you look top down, CMD + 1 or CTRL + 1, to swap views.
ah thanks. I wasnt sure if it shows what will actually print while in this view.
There is only one good angle I should be seen in (plus the lights turned off), sometimes it is simply a moire pattern due to optical illusions.

keep zooming in. You will get stairsteps on the top of a sphere, unless you’ve got a prototype 5-axis printer, but the camera’s zoom dithering is also making it a little more wierd.
It will attempt to print exactly what is on the preview. There are always less pixels than there are atoms in your print. keep zooming to see where your layers are going to end up at.
