I recently got my P1P Upgrade kit and everything went smooth! But sadly after installing the upgrade I constantly either get one of these two error messages:
Failed to pull out the filament from the extruder Failed to feed the filament into the toolhead
I already printed some suggested straigthener tools so the PTFE Tube does not bend into the hotend but that didnt help a bit.
The only thing that gets me back printing is placing the AMS beside the printer and printing without the top glass plate. That way the PTFE tube can get back to the wide radius and everything works as intended.
Is there a fix coming from Bambu? Basically the P1P Upgrade made my printer unuseable…
How long has it been since you sharpened or changed the filament cutter? Or I bet your tube is kinked because of the top glass…if you want to test out a theory remove the top glass and see if loads and unloads with it off
It does but not the PTFE tube. I even switched the tube completly, no difference.
Right no I got 3 out of 3 prints working with removed top glass…the only thing I could imagine would be that the cause for this isnt with the PTFE bending, but the bending just pushes it over the edge…but yeah.
Bambulab Support suggests basically I am just stupid and should look for small bending radius along the PTFE tubing. Just wow.
I saw on printables that some X1C users seem to have the same issue. I am currently printing a rising adapter to increase the height of the top glass of about 50mm (some prints only suggested 10-20mm). I tested this via simple blocks and a shady setup and with 50mm more height it seems to load and unload correctly.
