I have different filaments in the AMS. (Material)
Esun PETG
Esun PLA
Esun PLA LW
Bambu PLA Mate
each material has its own K value.
Since the end of last week calibration is not possible.
Unfortunately I did not take any photos.
PETG looks like underextruded. but sticks like the devil to the PEI print bed. even when cold.
Normal printed parts are not objectionable.
The PLA does not stick to the bed and remains attached to the nozzle.
PLA LW cannot be calibrated because it swells, but that has always been the case.
I cleaned the nozzle with coldpull.
then I tried something out of desperation. I print an old part from the cloud on ESUN PLA (generic PLA)
that worked fine…
I have a feeling the problem only occurs with Bambu filament.
but that doesn’t explain why my calibrations generally fail…
Before the Update to P1P 01.02.01.00 i had good working settings for my Extrudr Greentech material.
After the update all my prints come out extreme badly. They are not useable.
The seam is extreme thick and I have problems with ghosting which I never had before.
Is there a possibility to go back to the old firmware?
Is anyone from @BambuLab looking at these forum posts? There have been multiple complaints about this release as well as issues with binding printers since it’s launch, yet all we have is radio silence. Some acknowledgement and a timescale to fix it would be much appreciated. Even better, allow affected users to roll back the firmware.
Apparently there is no way back but only
“The escape forward!”
yesterday evening I had time again to deal with the printer. I wanted to disassemble the extruder. or look closely whether the nozzle is still straight.
so i took the printer out of the cabinet but found nothing abnormal.
when i connected the printer to power. i was offered a new firmeware.
Conditions like Apple. An update for the update.
It can’t get any worse.
so installed. then a factory reset, marry everything again,
full calibration and tata he prints again reasonably…
Info. before you do a FW update make sure that the bed is in the middle and the nozzle is above the poop hole.
after the update, the printer moves the bed up and full in front of the nozzle.
fortunately nothing happened.
I started the update when the head was centered over the bed.
I think this is the new Out Of the Box behavior. because otherwise he always wanted to go down.
I have the same problem, but it occurred when I updated to firmware version 01.02.01.00. Print quality got really bad compared to the same settings with the old firmware.
This model is currently for me unprintable Printables
I have set the K-Value to 0.02 and am using the newest Bambu Studio version. Is there any way for a downgrade or some settings that might solve this problem?
First layer works fine, but lateron I just get garbage
have exactly the same problem. Have had the printer for 2 weeks and printed over 100 parts without any problems (PETG). Since 4 days after the update nothing works. First layer works mostly but not always. But from the 2 layer, the quality is unusable no matter with what settings. Have already created a ticket and waiting for an answer.
After the first failed print I did basically all calibrations possible. The one on the printer and the K value calibration (my K-value is 0.02). I also tried shutting it down and powering it back up again. All with no effect.
The first layer(s) seem to be fine, but then I get like a mesh structure which eventually turns into spagetti (using the default printer settings). I already tried lowering the printer speed, but to no effect.
Also switching back to Bambu Studio 1.4.2 did not change anything. The issue happens when you have thin high walls only a few layers thick.
for me the update for the update has helped.
I also did a factory reset afterwards.
I do not know if the reset was not the solution but both steps in combination helped.
I had a very similar issue with the latest firmware update 01.03.00.00. I applied the update after a finished print on Thursday and forgot about it. Yesterday I wanted to print the next object and it came out terrible. It was the worst print I ever got on the P1P. Some kind of layer shift / adhesion issues starting in the middle of print. Spent the whole day to get it fixed by changing slicer option but with no success. Today I remember that there was a firmware update applied to my printer and I reverted the firmware using the app. Now prints look perfectly again.
I don’t know what Bambulab is doing on these firmware updates.
