after updating all the prints are coming off the table even with a lot of brim… I’ve tried more than 5 pieces and always the same problem… before the update I never had a problem…
Yes, even after bed levelling the nozzle is too far from the plate to give a good first layer. I reported this 5 days ago, just after the update, but no solution yet. Since then I downgraded to the previous version and all is back to normal.
its possible to downgrade from app?

It should be available on the Bambu Handy app. Instructions: click on the menu - top right (4 horz. lines), select ‘Firmware version’, should give the option to downgrade to older version. Note that this option was not available to me for a few days after the upgrade - reason unknown!

Did you make sure that the slicer did not change the plate type?
This has happened to me a couple times. When I do not notice the print fails.
If the plate type gets changed from the textured PEI to some other type then the nozzle height will not be set to correctly compensate for the texture.
i have the orginal and the texture pei… same problem both…
I do not understand your reply. The textured PEI is the plate that comes with the P1P.
After updating the firmware you must run the calibration under settings on the printer control panel. This is the same as the calibration for the printer that you ran when you first set up the printer.
Make sure this setting in the slicer matches the plate that you have on the machine.
Slice and then print with calibration selected so that the bed level calibration is performed before the print.
Watch the process while the printer is getting ready to print and make sure it cleans the nozzle on the back edge of the plate and that nothing is on the nozzle to interfere with the bed level check.
If this does not work then contact support. The firmware update to 01.03.00.00 does not cause this problem.

hi, sorry but you are wrong… my p1p came with high temp plate and i also have the textured plate…
already test both and have the same problem afte the update…
and yes… the problem is the firmware… you want to know how i know that? Simple… I did a factory reset and now it’s working perfectly…

Agree … doesn’t matter how many calibrations I do with the new firmware, it doesn’t get the correct bed height resulting in prints not sticking. Back to old version of firmware and all OK. Nothing to do with what plate being used. Still waiting for a reply from Bambu support (reported on 12th … brief message from them on 15th) … seem like they are burying their heads in the sand hoping the problem (or the user) goes away

downgrade does not solve it… you have to do a factory reset

Did you order the extra plate, or are they now shipping two plates with the P1P?
Experiencing the same issue with the new upgrade 1.7! I had so many projects I had to get done and here we go another problem. I can’t even use my $1500 printer. I’ve tried all calibrations, etc. so I don’t tell me to do a damn calibration this or that. Anybody else experiencing this issue and what is bamboo labs doing to fix the problem? I just sent back one of their A1 Mini’s That I just purchased because I wasn’t getting good first layer. Now I’m thinking this might’ve been because of firmware, but I’m not sure. What a hassle that was, and I planned on buying a bunch of printers. Who is the administrator here for Bambu?
I have same issue I try to open the back to check any plastic or dirt inside a plastic stock inside remove it then run it again leveling was fix
I have been having similar issues with our 2 new printers. it does not always do it however, when it does it seems to be when some excess filament is stuck to the tip of the hotend so it levels to the excess instead of the actual tip.
Did anyone find the solution i tryed changing the bed but still mu hotend is way too far away and nothing sicks even with glue
Yeah I’ve had exactly the same issue and I’ve tried everything else. Replacing nozzle, reset it to factory settings and changing the plate. Currently downgrading the firmware but I really dont understand whats going on.
did you try rerunning calibration?
