My new AMS 2 wont close fully, looks like an issue with the seal, has anyone else got this. I think there a kink in the rubber seal as its not closing without me push down hard on it, It’s not air tight as its causing a gap.

Theres still a gap, it just doesn’t want to sit flush unless i push it down, but then it bulges, stopping it from being air tight.
Even if i twist them its like its trying to force it up and there a gap. No matter what i try it wont sit flush. The unit is advertised as air tight, this isn’t currently for me
I have 2 AMS 2;s and the other unit is fine, sits flush so i can compare them and this one jsut seems misaligned, or the seals warped
It’s held in place by an adhesive strip but if you trust it to stick again you could pull it out and re-seat it from scratch. Using something dull to tuck in in to place.
I replaced about 6 of these on the original ams, now I use a synthetic grease on the lip so it slides in without bunching the rubber.

I have a brand new ams2 with the same problem. Submitted a ticket but Bambu wants more pictures, did you get this solved?
Mine just popped back in after a lot of opening and closing. They did send me some instructions to help but I didn’t need them in the end.
I have the same problem with both AMS 2 Pros. At first, everything was fine, but after about a week, the same problem started. The seal sometimes bends, but even when it looks good, I still have to force it closed. I’ve had two AMS 1s for over a year and a half, and they close completely. I’m interested to see how Bambulab responds.

Another one here. I had this issue on arrival, it arrived with the rubber seal squashed on 2 places. Does the rubber seal of the AMS1 fit or is that a different size?
Going to open a ticket too.
Has the same thing on two units but not that bad. I was able to correct that.
Bambu should check that with the QA team.

Had that with one of mine too. Opened a ticket, added photos and received a new bottom shell with gasget that is ok.
