I didn’t have that problem but I don’t use PETG HF. I encountered warping issues with models having only little contact with the plate. Adding a brim almost always helps. Afair higher print speed is more prone to warping so PETG HF may be the cause.
I prefer higher density for technical parts but that is more prone warping issues if the Bambu wiki is to be believed. Therefore, you could also try the standard print profile.
I avoided the brim for this model as it had enough surface contact for me. PETG brims are hard to remove as they consist only of one layer which is not configurable, unfortunately.
Edited: Would you mind posting your remark along with the model? That way others might profit better off your experience.
I’ve posted my remark.
FWIW, I’m not sure if the brim did any good. I let the bed cool to room temperature. When I removed the part, the entire brim stayed on the build plate.
By pure chance, I stumbled upon this hub upper part replacement model. I did not test it (yet) but might be helpful for anyone looking into this thread.
I just tried to install the mount on my A1. There are no holes in the vertical support that correspond to the mount shown in the picture. The part has holes about 42.5mm apart. The only holes in the vertical support on my printer are near the bottom and are about 57 mm apart. They are used to mount the stabilizing leg when using the top mount for the AMS Lite.
I just found a comment that older A1’s may not have the top mounting holes. I guess my A1 is an “older” one. I purchased in fall 2024.
Here’s my current solution. I used a pedestal made from 1” PVC pipe mounted in a flange on a scrap piece of plastic decking. The decking is heaver than a similar sized piece of wood.
To attach the buffer to the pipe, I printed A1 AMS Hub Holder with Inlet and Outlet PTFE Guide - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld and used Gorilla Tape. I had to enlarge the top PTFE hole with a drill (I used 7/32”). As printed, the hole is a tight fit on the tubing and didn’t allow the top of the buffer to move.
I added some 3d printed cable management clips to clean up the cables.
I’m pleased with the result.
