Can not seem to get filament colors in prepare screen to sync up with colors in AMS. And yes, I tried to figure it out using the “Guide” shown on the device screen. Synching and resynching just puts it all back to the wrong settings.
Are you editing the colors on the X1 screen or the devices tab? Whatever the answer, try the other way.
Thank you for responding;
yeah, I already tried that. Also, I see the same problem on my P1S, different AMS, still can not sync the colors.
The filament in the Prepare tab doesn’t have to mirror what the AMS has. Is the Device tab showing what it correctly loaded in the AMS(s)?
No. what is shown in the device tab does not reflect what is actually in the AMS
this is the same issue on both AMS units, one on the P1s, another on the X1 Carbon.
Maybe this example will clairify what I am trying to say:
ACTUAL AMS
#1 is green
#2 is white
#3 is gold
#4 is blue
ACTUAL X1 SCREEN
#1 is black
#2 is white
#3 is gold
#4 is black
STUDIO DEVICE TAB
#1 is black
#2 is white
#3 is ?
#4 is black
STUDIO PREPARE TAB
#1 is red
#2 is yellow
#3 is yellow
#4 is red
Now, here is the problem:
I am unable to change any colors in Studio device tab,
I can change colors in the Prepare tab.
Unable to change any colors in X1 screen.
I read through the Guide in studio on device tab under the AMS settings,
When I send plate to printer, nothing matches the prepare tab, on either AMS unit, I find myself making many duplicates prints, it is so confusing!
Not sure this will help, but I hade somewhat similar issues - the BBL Studio would not sync with the actual AMS…
The issue for me was that my girlfriend hade been using the printer earlier that day, she have here own Windows account on the same PC that I’m using, within here own Windows account she was running BBL Studio, logged in with here own user. When I logged into my Windows account, and started BBL studio and connected to the printer I could not get the AMS to sync with BBL Studio… Turned out that the instance of BBL Studio in my GFs Windows account was stil running. When I terminated that instance all was back to normal with regards to AMS sync…
Only one user in this household, only one instance of studio running at a time when trying to sync - It’s odd that both AMS units act the same…it’s like studio is keeping the settings - maybe I should just junk this version of studio, install another studio, and start over again?
