AMS error, not feeding? blocked?

I started getting this recently and it’s confusing because I’m using an AMS. I opened the AMS and checked all the paths and there are no blockages.

I also checked the filament buffer and that’s all clear too.

Also the AMS doesn’t seem to want to feed filament at all, there’s no movement. I’m not sure where to look.

What is happening is that the filament sensor in the extruder is sensing filament or is stuck. The printer knows that the AMS doesn’t have filament loaded so it a assumes that an external filament is loaded.

You need to take apart the extruder and investigate/clear the jam/filament piece.
