AMS First Stage Feeder Sensor problem?

I’m continuously getting “Failed to pull back the filament” problem. The third slot of my AMS will pull back the filament and pull it clearly out of the hole.

Does this mean I need a new AMS First Stage Feeder? I assume its the sensor in there.

I wonder if I can take it apart and just disconnect the wires to that slot 3 - will the other slots work? Because right now, the entire AMS won’t work until I fix slot 3.

I would check the other three slots to make sure there is no filament broke off down in one of those feeders. This happened to me and found broken filament in slot 1.

Turns out that there was a small broken piece right at the junction. I had to press the “lever” to push a piece of filament thru and release the debris.
