I hope there aren’t any further delays. I made the “mistake” of getting AMS 2 Pro around the beginning of September, thinking the update would be released at the end of September. Instead, it was Q4, then October… I hope what support told me is true.
today i almost had a heart atack haha
they updated the buy page of a1 mini / a1, with a new option:
CyberBrick Time-lapse Kit
we have to wait more…
I’m already beginning to doubt that, with this update today, Monday, and knowing that this week will be p2s week and they won’t release anything that could “overshadow” that release, I’m not expecting anything until at least the end of the month (if it comes out with no delays…)
The kit is a gimmick to make a fast buck. I can use my phone or an action camera or anything else and use its built-in function or free software (eg. Capcut) to make a time-lapse and have more control over the output. Why complicate things with another piece of hardware?
A1 firmware for non-Lite AMS options is available as a beta:
Without the connection kit the firmware is useless.
Will be published tomorrow. [quote=“SupportAssistant, post:1, topic:201055”]
This firmware requires the new AMS Buffer accessory if you wish to use it with the AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT which will be published on the website tomorrow. A link will be added to this page once available

It’s a pity we won’t be able to mix AMS Lite and AMS2… ![]()
Here’s the corresponding wiki entry:
Seeing 4 AMS units beside an A1 Mini just seems… wrong somehow.
But, in the right way!
Oooh Nooo! It’s what I’ve been waiting for! The only thing I miss is… the 4th AMS! I have only 3 on my P1P. ![]()
Just saw a new thread about the new A1 series firmware in Public Beta and on it was a link to the A1 series specific hub:
AMS Hub - A1 Series | Bambu Lab US Store.
And now the AMS-HT on backorder.
And remember to print this one
Anyone in the UK been able to order the A1 AMS Hub? It’s out of stock here, but in stock most other places.
I have confirmed with them the U.K. store is the only territory without any stock.
I do not know if they even bothered to ship any here or if they did, likely just 5.
They can’t even nail a delayed launch.
Yet again the U.K. stock levels are the worst of any territory.
I wrote this over a year ago and things are still appalling.
Apparently everyone in the UK needs to be a youtuber since Bambu always seems to treat its actual customers like 2nd class citizens while giving youtubers everything for free months in advance.

Getting real sick of seeing some no-name youtuber with yet another bambu printer ‘coincidentally’ wink wonk in the background and then being force-fed its features even if they’re not relevant to the video without my consent.
of course the hub is out of stock in the UK
wouldnt the hub of the other printers work? it has a 4pin and 6 pin outlet on it. i actually have a spare i might test
No, they had to make changes to stop how the filament flows due to the A series using the head motors to pull the filament.
They say without this specific part (not available in the U.K.) that motor could burn out or otherwise damage the printer.
Also strange, the mounting hook isn’t supplied in the box. You have to print it.
