To get the Beta update for the A1 you need to activate Beta Software in the Bambu Handy App

you mean beta? not public release? i still have no beta updates showing on all my printers
yeah seems bambu cant get it together in the UK theres hardly any stock of anything
Public Beta
Ordered 2 AMS 2 PRO and the new buffer will report back when they show up, I wonder if there is a limit to how long the Bowden tube can be from the AMS to the printer? , would like to setup the AMS side by side off to the left side of the A1.
It seems that users define “public” differently than BambuLab. For me, “public” would mean that every user who is part of the beta program can install it. We have users (including me) who are now sitting on pins and needles, waiting to install firmware that is apparently not accessible to everyone.

I ordered the AMS2pro few weeks ago and now the new AMS hub for A1.
In the video and the wiki guide, you show how to connect the AMS 2 Pro with the new AMS Hub for the A1 printer. Is it necessary to have the beta version of the firmware? I haven’t found any option in the printer to switch between AMS Lite and AMS 2 Pro. I’ve also checked the option to participate in beta firmware testing, but I still only have the basic version 01.06.00.00. Will this cause any problems when connecting and switching between AMS Lite and AMS 2 Pro? thank you.
As of now (2025-10-20), firmware don’t support AMS 2 nor AMS-HT.
You must wait for the beta or the next firmware version.
and why this on wiki is the manual to connect AMS2 to A1? Why they sell anything, that not supported by fw?
You should ask that to Bambulab. I can’t help there.

Its a staggered release as a public beta , patience is a virtue as i cant get the hardware 
i have a hardware, but i cant wait for the fw
