I’ve got filament SUNLU Matte PLA Filament 1.75mm jammed in AMS Slot 1. After inserting the filament, it worked fine for one print, and then it alerted with the message about the filament being stuck. Now, the LED status for slot 1 is red. The motor shaft and gear rotate, but the filament cannot be successfully loaded or unloaded.
I dismantled and cleaned the AMS internal hub unit, but no filament was inside the tubes. The issue is with the Feeder Tab.
I made a support ticket, but no answer yet. And I’m running out of ideas.
I used this and this to clean the feeder tab. It took some time, and it’s tricky to put things together.
I still have no idea why this happened and how to prevent this in the future.
So i had this issue, and inside the ams filament hub itself there are 4 magnets one of my magnets were turned upside down and causing it to malfunction. Ill provide the link, make sure that before you take it apart that you read the link. i made the mistake of not before i took it apart and it was a struggle.
