Does anyone know of additional hardware needed to run AMS2 Pro on an A1 (mini in my case)? Like an AMS hub or special adaptor?

It must have some hardware, as there is only one ptfe tube coming from the AMS 2 Pro.

I’m hoping that we can use one of the single unit AMS hubs that ship with the 1st generation AMS units. They have a spring loaded filament buffer and both 4 and 6 pin connector sockets. That plus a 4into1 PTFE adaptor might work. Fingers crossed.

My AMS Hub arrived today. An AMS HT and an AMS 2 Pro are now waiting for the update for the A1. Please, Bambu, make this combination work as soon as possible 
I know the order was a little bit risky.

The “Connection Guide for Multiple AMS Units with Different Printer Models” on the Bambu Lab Wiki says that an A1-specific buffer (expected Q3 release) is needed.
Yup. I saw that. I am hoping that BL engineering is looking to repurpose the legacy hubs as I have a couple here. FWIW, the wiki omits that you can use the 4 into 1 adaptor and a single AMS hub in place of the multiport AMS hub like this on an X1.

Gerade auf der Bambulab Wiki Seite gesehen dass der Release auf Q4 geändert wurde.
Anderer User berichtete aus einem Support Ticket dass die Beta Firmware Update ende Sept. kommt und der Firmware Update Mitte Okt. kommen sollte.
Dauert nicht mehr lange.

I’m guessing that there are a few BL engineers and a manager or two a bit frustrated that it is taking to so long as well.
In the latest update for Bambu Studio there was a link to the new adaptor for the A1. Looked like it was for the 4 pin output at the back. I clicked the link and it said the item was out of stock but i signed up for an update. But i cant find the link to the itam now at all. But yes it must be coming very soon.

Hi does this hub just take 2 ptfe tubes and one outlet im a bit new to this sorry.

This one takes 4 ptfe tubs in, from AMS/AMS 2 Pro/AMS HT and connects them to the A1 / A1 Mini. This gives you a better view than the pictures:

On the US Bambu Store the A1 Hub is only for when connecting more than one AMS but the Bambu Wiki seems to imply that one is needed with an A1 - it is not clear which is correct

It’s two different things. The A1 comes with this to connect the AMS lite:

People have reported that the original X1/P1 buffer (with a splitter) and hub also work in place of the new product.
I am going to only use my A1 with a single AMS 2 Pro. So it seems all I need to buy is the AMS 2 Pro and the power supply for drying. I that correct then?

Why is AMS hub needed?
The A1 series printers were originally compatible with AMS lite. When using AMS lite for printing, it doesn’t participate in the filament feeding assistance function and relies solely on the printer’s extruder to actively pull the filament for filament loading. Therefore, an AMS hub wasn’t required.
To accommodate AMS, AMS 2 Pro, and AMS HT - all of which have assisted feeding functionality during printing - we have specifically launched this AMS hub accessory for the A1 series. Since these AMS units involve internal assisted feeding motors that push filament during printing, the purpose of this hub is to regulate the resulting filament tension, maintaining it within an appropriate range to ensure the extruder can work accurately and smoothly.
That is my problem - the Store page seems to say it is only needed for multiple AMS units.
