X1C
I’m having this weird thing, where after a print finishes, if I let the printer sit awhile, it no longer receives/starts a new print.
What I mean is, it will be sitting there, I’ll go through the slicer, then send to printer, it’ll say sent successfully and the device page will start up with cam, but the bed doesn’t activate and start heating, nor any other inkling happens, that I just sent a print to the printer.
But I can home just fine, turn the light on/off, move the bed/toolhead… I just can’t send a new print to the machine.
I have to physically restart the machine to get it to print. I’ve tried restarting studio as well.
I just started seeing this too. Sent a print and it succeeded, but then nothing happens. I have the camera on and I can see the video feed, so it’s not a networking issue. And power cycling didn’t help.
I’ve tried power cycling again and restarting BambuStudio, but still the prints don’t start. I have 2 X1Cs and they are both having the issue.
I got this issue today during the afternoon, but it was solved by closing all Bambu Studio instances, rebooting the computer, and reopening the studio. There was no need to restart the X1C.

@fnord, are you using multiple devices or studio instances?
Same issue, P1P here. Have power cycled everything.
Cloud dependant services for printing on a local network, brilliance
I’m also having the same problem. I completed a print 1/2 an hour ago, and now cannot queue anything to print.
Restarting Studio & the printer did not help.
In the printer menus, under Settings / Print Options, the last option is about “cache cloud print files to microSD”. I did not have that enabled (never noticed it before). I just turned it on and tried again to print and now my print is starting up!
same here got home from work went to run some prints and get the same as all of you are getting.
Did you have to re-submit the job? Or, did the jobs that you had already submitted start to print?
resent my file and it is now starting to print.
I had to reboot the computer to get mine working. I had previously quit and restarted Studio but that did not help.
I forgot one thing; besides quit all Bambu Lab Studio instances and rebooting PC, I renamed my plates, as I was using custom names, that maybe were too long and complex. I cannot precise if it makes as difference, but if your issue persist, doesn’t hurt to try.
If you do “Send” instead of Print plate, it cannot send. But gives an error, it says the WLAN/Access code dont match and to change it. The IP and access codes to what the machine said., and the file sent. But tried to “Print Plate” again, and did not send again. Had to manually print file from the SD card after send.
You may find multiple post in the last hours about the same issue.
Mine happen again, and now I am sure of at least one issue: the plate name.
In this case, I had the plate name “0.2mm” at the time of failure. As soon as I delete the name (let it be empty) and send it to print, it works again.
I can foresee two causes, some character (e.g. dot) or combination (numbers and letters) is not accepted; second, there was a failure with a plate named 0.2mm and therefore is still on the system, and there is no permission to replace the file.
@JayZay a friendly warning, maybe careful your not on a wild goose chase, seems even though there is no problems reported on the status page, plenty of us are having similar issues in sending to the printer via cloud.
Experiencing the same, attempted to reset my wifi and power cycle but nothing’s responding. I tried to remove the printer in the app and I’m getting 503’s - seems server related.
Same issue… It worked for me an hour ago, now Bambu Studio doesn’t even recognize my X1C… I also had issues where my files would download, but not start the print…
Last night i started getting the issue where it would send files would download nothing would happen. Interestingly this morning neither of my computers even see the x1c and the app is telling me i have no internet which is clearly incorrect
Same here, cannot connect to the printer now either, something going on in the Bambu cloud. Odd that the status says the infrastructure is fine, when clearly it’s not.
Same here, no connection to the printer.
