As many have said, it is misleading. Just look at the most recently upload by that given designer to see a very pointed example of the issue. The ribbed bowl does not match the actual printed design. That’s an issue because people clicked on the model and maybe even downloaded or print it based on that cover image. Do we want to open up MakerWorld someday and see an entire page of AI generated cover photos or see the actual model that can be printed on our amazing printers?
@bill.m.davis is absolutely correct, there is no issue in using AI to come up with your concepts or even using the super cool AI tools that MakerWorld is releasing, it’s when the image is completely different from the model is where there is an issue.
