Artefacts on specific layer of my print

Hi,

I got a brand new P1S and after some prints, I don’t manage to find a solution to the new issue I have.

While printing and after the fifth layer my printer seems to form a layer of small artefacts, that the nozzle hits on its travel making a grinding noise. The issue is occuring on the same layer each time I retry the print.

Am I doing something wrong ? Quite scared to try once more regarding the noise it makes when that specific layer arrives. Thank you for your help.

Tried to switch the infill pattern to gyroid as suggested on other posts but the problem persists, could it be the printing speed ?

Seems a bit strange not having the problem on the first few layers.

I had an issue similar to this when I got my P1S and I was printing a poop chute. If I remember right, the issue had to do something potentially with the Max Volumetric Speed of the filament profile I had set. What filament are you using and do you see a speed increase on that specific layer in the slicer?

I am using PLA from Eryone using the defaults settings of Bambu Studio. I’m using the PLA Basic Bambu profile.

I’m not familiar with Bambu Studio yet but it seems that the speed is the same (316 mm/s) on both layers judging by the colors :

Layer 5 → infill (OK):

Layer 6 → full layer (artefacts):

Is that a HF filament?
If not: Eryone Filament? someone printed?
If it is: Use the Generic PLA HF settings to start from.
