Auto refill is not working. End of spool, it waits for me to refill.
AMS, Same filament type, same manufacturer, same color.
In the device settings, auto refill looks fine.
When I go to print, Auto refill is missing from the send print job.
All of my other X1C’s. P1P’s, and P1S machines auto refill works fine and they all show this during send to those printers.
Any suggestions. This printer is fairly new. It has never worked on this printer.
Have you compared the AMS firmware versions?
No and I have never done any specific ‘AMS Firmware’ anything. However, as a result of your prodding me on it, I went through the menus looking for it, and found the answer. This box was unchecked in the touch UI. I have never been in this menu before. And why is this label titled AMS Filament Backup, as opposed to what it is called in other places Auto Refill? Anyway, this check box solved the problem I’m pretty sure. Testing it now. I do at least see the Auto Refill selection when selecting a printer now so I feel this is resolved.
Since you are wanting to do automatic spool changeovers, be sure to see the thread here on tape at end of spool.
Many spools of Bambu filament are secured with tape on the hub. That tape loves to stay stuck to the filament and gets drawn into the AMS filament handling mechanism and even into the extruder.
