Yup, I can always cancel the order if the reviews suck lol. I made a joke to my partner that “I can’t wait to buy it! Then we can watch the reviews and figure out what I just bought”
I just saw the leak thread and it did say only a laser edition and non laser edition. Which surprises me unless they have an check box to not include the ams on the order screen. Not everyone wants an ams, though admittedly Ive come to like having the original ams and not necessarily for multi color.
If this is the case then my guess at around 3k is way off. I was guessing 3k for the printer only, no ams or additional items. Ill see my friend that did wind up with a review model of the H2 based on images he posted to Instagram, this weekend. Im sure hes gonna keep his mouth closed on everything hes supposed to but Ill see what hes willing to share. its gonna be interesting to see for sure if all the hype and waiting was worth it. All he told me so far is its a game changer.
I am sure the reviews of those people they got one in advance will suck…
It would be almost like if the cook that works in that restaurant writes a review about how bad the food in that restaurant is.
It will be more like you watch video reviews about how amacing the printer is you just bough.
Honestly this is enough for the ADHD hyperfixation part of my brain while it’s shipping lol
If you’re on windows, press Win+V to enable clipboard history. You can copy them all and then quickly pull them from the history for rapid Gift Card application
I think i should not have shared my secret plan how to get a HD2 in the forum…
So if the price is not to much higher… better try to get the laser version…
Dont share information stuff with random people, specialy if you dont know if they are in the same country as you!!
I couldn’t confirm or deny the info shared in the leak.
Thus, alleged was the best word to avoid offending the one who shared the info and not misleading anyone by sharing unconfirmed info.
No you’re right, I jumped to conclusions initially before thinking about it
I tried to buy one early, for a review. They probably selected certain people that they knew would only cover the good.
The longer I wait, the less I want one. If I do in fact try to order one, and theyre sold out, my money will go elsewhere
For you it is easy to just get another printer instead. You spend hundred of hours tuning, analysing and testing printers and settings to get your know-how. Also you were investing a lot of money to get that experience. I am sure you could even get better results than what this bambu printer gets with ots sensors and Ai programs. Specialy if you need a constant, same quality prints.
I am not rdy to spend that time and money for that know how. And the most automatic printer is bambu labs. So more or less i am stuck with the H2D…
Or spend years and money to somehow get what you worked for and get another printer.
Edit:
Just finished the shelf for the printer:
Mine is going on top of the washing machine lol
And don’t forget, there is nothing to say the “leaked” information wasn’t “tainted” so there may be still some surprises on the release day
In other words it’s not official until it’s official.
H2D’s out!!!
This is a thread about where people are discussing where they are putting the H2Ds they purchased 9 hours ago, I’m pretty sure they know that.
lol… not everyone , apparently…
will there be another 3D Printer release from BambuLab 2025…?!
I also thought about this (new printers from other series) at the release day of the H2D.
For all the people that just like a real bigger printer (350x350x3xx),
that do not need a dual nozzle/laser/cutter. A X1C or P1S scaled up
with maybe heated champer. I am just not the right customer for the H2D.
Even I think the H2D will (at least for the non-laser) have enough buyers.
You should check the Qidi plus 4, as realistically I don’t see another new printer coming from bambu anytime soon, or go for the H2D combo, people seem to forget that the laser stuff is optional…
By accident I have a QIDI Plus 4 at home. A friend bought it and could not return it. I tested it now for 3 weeks. It is not bad, I like Klipper. But i miss the AMS.
It does not look like QIDI is going to release one. I already asked them, last week.
They wrote back that it will be released in Q1/2025, which is now the past. So
I guess it is not going to happen.
The QIDI Plus 4 would be the right price range for me (below 1000EUR with AMS). The H2D might be a masterpiece on it’s own, but also it is priced like one. I just do 3D printing as my hobby and do not do it for my living. So it is not justified to spend more that needed on this hobby.
Yeah that’s the one gap I see in it, but from what I saw the print quality stands out above the others, really clean surfaces and bigger bed and heated chamber it’s pretty nice offering especially considering the price
I do think that they will come with an AMS this year, but they are probably making some updates to have it doing drying functionality as well otherwise they would be releasing an outdated version (anycubic does it and now bambu as well)
If you have the budget though, the H2D is pretty awesome, I received it yesterday and it has been printing non stop since and I’m really liking it, awesome piece of engineering
