Bambu A1 Nozzle won't touch the silicone vipers

My A1 nozzle won’t touch to silicone vipers, when its trying to wipe the nozzle…

It tries to wipe 2mm front of the viper ?

I made full calbration twice…

what am I missing ?

İ don’t understand what you mean ?

Is there any chance the bed is hitting the back of an enclosure or a wall, or that the forward movement is obstructed? If you turn the unit off, does the bed slide freely to both ends? Is there any debris (like a piece of filament) in either end of the channel that it might be hitting when homing? The home position of the bed is sensorless, I’m wondering if it is getting obstructed in one direction either by debris or hitting something.

The unit establishes the “home” position of the bed by moving it to the extremes and sensing the motor current when it hits the end, so if this movement is obstructed or has resistance to movement the home position will be displaced along that axis.

Check to see if the nozzle is rubbing the plate in the correct location, that may be a clue if it is wrong. Here is mine:

thank you for your quick reply, I checked the bed slide its clean, it goes to both ends when its off, and I checked nozzle can touch the silicone vipers when its off, but when Its on it goes in 2mm front of the viper …

Can you post an image of what you are referring to ? or the complete back of the plate ?

I believe we are talking about the A1 heat bed nozzle wiper.

Does this line print in the same place as the picture, or is it moved forward on yours?

it can touch the silicone vipers when when its off, but when it is on and calibrating goes past the silicone vipers 2mm to the plate

Does it need the nozzle wiper while it is calibrating ?
have another look when you start the print sequence
Also looking at the images your printer has been pretty misused and appears to need an update

Is this a groove cut by the nozzle?

“but when it is on and calibrating goes past the silicone vipers 2mm to the plate”

what I meant that, it doesn’t touch viper part(it goes 2mm infant the viper) when its calibration…

yes it did :(, what do I have to do… to correct it… printer is one week old…

Did you do a factory reset? Can’t hurt.

@Cembee

Update the printer to latest firmware (1.04)
then go to settings, maintenance, calibration ,

start a full calibration, then run a test print .

I did all this, two days ago…

should I do them before I do factory reset?

or factory reset and then calibrations ?

and its updated to 01.04.00.00

Regardless of the root cause, this is reason enough to put in a support ticket with Bambu.

You’ll probably be able to resolve the issue without Bambu support, but if it turns out to be something more serious, you’ll be glad that there’s no question about being within the warranty period.

I had a case where my X1 Lidar tried to calibrate 2mm away from the calibration pattern after the X1’s 01.04. firmware update. I ended up having to replace the printer. I was really glad I had filed the ticket within the warranty period.

PS: I really liked the Viper @mugglesmuggle . Please put it back
I can not remember if the cartoon was about wiping a viper? Or if the viper was wiping the printer?

Factory reset. It will then prompt to re-calibrate just like when it was first set up. If that does not work, time for a trouble ticket.

In this picture the nozzle appears to be in the right place, I can see it almost dead center bending over one of the silicone branches. Is this what you are talking about when you say it is in the wrong position?
