Using my AMS, I have a spool in #4 and it loads fine and when I go to print, it unloads and goes to spool #2. This happens every time, When I take out spool #2 and load #4 it loads fine and I can print. What good is the AMS if I select the spool I want and it will not load / print.
Thanks
Sounds like the filament you think you’ve chosen isn’t actually chosen. It’s not super intuitive at first IMO.
Can you share screenshots of Bambu Studio? Particularly the right side of the Device section where it shows which filaments are in the AMS, as well as the top left of Prepare section where the filaments in your project are listed.
There’s also the screen that appears when you click Print - you can choose which slot to use for which filament there in case you don’t want to use them as defined in the other views.
Will take a pic next time . I have checked both the AMS as fa as selection which shows loaded and confirmed on computer screen the same which was set. All is good like I mentioned as far as the filament bay loaded , send print, and all of a sudden bay selected unloads and loads a different bay… Thanks
On the send print confirmation make sure you pick the slot mappings that you want to print with.
Picking filament in the slicer prepare is not the same. Configuring which slot in the device AMS section has what is not the same.
I experienced similar problems with color changing. I will print internal file n machine loads spool3 but then stops n default to spool 1. Every time
