Bambu High Temp Plate - High Temp Sheet

Hello All,
I have printed using PAHT-CF using Bambu’s High Temp Plate. As I purchased this printer used, I just printed directly to the plate (using stick glue) with no issues up until now. My last print left a raised outline of the print with isn’t something I can scrape off, so I was going to just purchase a new High temp plate from Bambu. In doing so, I noticed that their High Temp plate not only has the plate but also comes with a stick on High Temp Sheet. Am I to understand that when using the High Temp plate, I should be covering it with one of these sheets?

Thanks for any helps here.

Hi, No you don’t need to stick one of these on top. The adhesive spare sheet takes the place of the one already on the plate. Instead of buying a new plate you just remove the existing bad sheet and add a new one. Bambu Lab even provide a printable file with a tool that makes the process easier. The tool can be found on the internal memory of the printer or a download here:

And video instruction on how to replace here:

You probably don’t need to get a new plate or sticker. Bambu recommends some steps to fix this issue.

  1. Place the Cool Plate face down on the heated bed, with the Engineering side on top.
  2. Set the bed temperature to 100C and wait for 5-10 minutes
  3. Set the temperature to 30C and wait until the bed cools down to that temperature
  4. Remove the plate and inspect it, to see if the bubbles are removed.
