I was thinking about this filament, firstly i thought that itâs foaming tpu due to matte finish, but on closer inspection itâs not that rought, but it seems they just added some additives to make it rougher and it doesnât look they changed material. I though this is not poleurethane TPE, but different kind, some TPEs have natural matte finish, like SEBS based. (TPE is a family of elastomer and TPU is one of them, there are many different kind).
If itâs really TPU with additives, itâs actually great news, it gives best wear resistance, strength with tacky and non slippery finish, so they combined best properties of all elastomers, because other kind of elastomers are not that good in this regard.
How did u get access to to this?
