It looks like it was twisted and badly overlapped in the spool.
I don’t know if this is just happened while using the filament but it stopped my print several times causing clogs and print failures.
Humidity in the AMS was around 20% (I placed humidity hygrometer in the AMS).
The filament looked very sticky and somewhere opaque.
So I decided to respool the filament and now it seems to work properly.
Did any one of you had the same experience?
There’s anything I should do to avoid such problem?
Thanks for your suggestions …
I haven’t had this problem with the Translucent PETG specifically (I have used about half a spool and have not had any issues) but I have noticed issues with tangling with other Bambu filament lately, particularly refills.
I saw a post where it is recommended to press hard on the filament (towards the inner spool) to loosen it away from the edges where it gets tangled sometimes. Not sure if works or not but I’m going to try it going forward.
I had a similar issue with a refill spool from Bambulab. It looked like in my case the filament was tangled on the refill spool which caused me also some failed prints.
The spool got stuck and somehow opened itself inside the AMS after I took it out of the AMS it looked like this:
I am not happy with the refill spools and I am not going to buy them again in the future.
I was able to put the filament on the spool by hand but I had to cut half of the filament off because it was tangled up completely…
