Bambu Lab Shipping Delay - December 20th Update

I received my A1 printer today and I am very happy with it. If it can give hope. I’m in Canada (Quebec) It’s a superb quiet and fast machine

And I ordered from Manitoba on Dec 6, label created on the 30th, no further update.

14th of November? Or December?
Seems like some of the mid/late November orders are getting labels & actually being shipped. Haven’t seen any movement for December orders.

I ordered the 27th of december. They said the X1C was in stock and would ship in 2 to 3 business days. We will see if they can keep their word.

On the other hand, the smooth plate and hotend from the same order did arrive. Too bad I can’t use them yet :sweat_smile:

I orded the P1S(said in stock, still does) on the 25th of december, expected shipping to start the fallowing days. To my suprise a lable was created the same day, zero movement since, just that a lable was made and fedex was send the shipment info.
Seeing the almost month long waits for some people almost makes me want to cancel my order and make the drive to a microcenter that has them in stock.

If it’s processing then Bambu most likely won’t let you cancel your order.

Microcenter would be the best way to get it sooner.

I just checked my Microcenter and looks like they got RESTOCKED by Bambu. They have 25+. A1 mini’s in stock for $179.

I wish I didn’t place my order online in DEC with Bambu. I would be able to have one TODAY and save SHIPPING COSTS instead of waiting weeks to get one.

Ordered an AMS Lite on 11/30. Originally told it would ship “around 12/25.” It was picked up by UPS on 12/30 and is in transit. Tracking says it should be delivered tomorrow. So just about 5 weeks from order to delivery, but only a 5 day delay from their initial estimate. Not ideal, but other than the fact that they charged my credit card right away, I can’t really complain too much as they did provide notice of the delay.

Ordered 8 kg filament on 12/24. It was picked up by UPS on 12/30 and is also in transit. Tracking says it should be delivered on 1/4. 11 days from order to delivery. Not too bad, actually, given that the holidays and the warning that fulfillment would be slow.

Placed another order 12/29. Label has been printed but not yet picked up by UPS. We will see how that one goes.

I don’t believe its processing seems like its been processed already. Label was made, and money has been out of my account since the day I placed the order.
If it hasnt moved by next week I guess I’ll attempt to cancel the order and get a refund. Sat in queue for live chat and was basically told to “wait longer” and “I’ve notified the warehouse to move quicker” which does nothing if they dont actually have the printer.

Be careful because I believe the SALE AT MICROCENTER ENDS JAN 4TH. You don’t want to cancel and end up paying more.

I haven’t read of anyone in this thread so far that Bambu has let cancel their order. They always seem to make excuses.

If so I’ll eat the $100 difference, if I do try and cancel and they keep coming up with excuses then I’ll just have to get with my bank and let them take care if it

Good luck. Maybe you’ll be one of the lucky ones. Unlike some here that ordered printers as far back as NOV and are still waiting for them to ACTUALLY BE SHIPPED and not just a label printed.

Ordered 14th of December to clarify

I placed an order on November 28th, which according to your information was handed over to DPD. The tracking number shows Wuppertal as the current location.

Problem:

  • DPD informed me by phone that they have not received the goods.
  • Your support advised me to wait a week for a status update. This period has now expired without anything happening.
  • Cancellation via your website is not possible.
  • I have now requested a cancellation via Klarna.
  • Your support is no longer responding to my requests.
  • I have not received the promised 20€ voucher either.

Demand:

I request immediate clarification of the delivery status and confirmation of the cancellation of my order.

Addition:

I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and support. Such handling of customers is extremely damaging to your reputation.

I entirely understand your problem, I have one very similar more than once.

Bambu Lab staff rarely look here, this is for rants.

If you have not created a ticket yet, make sure you do.

How long does it take for them to respond to a ticket? I would like to cancel my order and buy it from Microcenter that just got RESTOCKED.

Problem is the sale ends on Jan4 so I would need to be able to actually cancel before then.

Live chat doesn’t work. I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with a company who seems to be so incompetent with customer service requests.

I would go buy it right now from Microcenter if I knew for sure that I could cancel my order with Bambu

A week after November 28th, I opened a ticket and received a standard response, like many others seem to have. I followed up twice, but to this day, I have not received any further response from Bambu Lab.

If, contrary to expectations, the package is still delivered, please refuse acceptance and instruct the deliverer to return the package to the sender.

As a Swiss Post employee, I know that this is possible without any problems.

You may need to stay up to use the web chat services UTC+8.

I did this twice, one week apart, each time I was told they would escalate my ticket, the first now did nothing, and the second got a response on the ticket with more delaying tactics.

I shouldn’t have to do that . It should be easily done online. My printer doesn’t even have a shipping label yet. It’s ESD is Jan 10th.

Any NORMAL company will let you cancel online as long as it isn’t shipped.

I’m just glad I bought the cheapest printer they have. I can’t imagine how terrible their customer support would be if I had a real problem with the printer.

Live chat does work, make sure you’re translating the time zone correctly. They work China/Shenzhen hours. They’re not much help though. My last live chat they told me my order would not ship before 1/2/2025, at least they were correct on that.
