I’m in Canada and had two opportunities of family driving down for the holidays I could have asked them to pick up a printer from Microcenter in the US for me.
Alas I chose to wait
The reality is it’s not the wait … its the lack of knowing what’s a realistic timeline thats hard to deal with.
Hey guys,
Just to say that I ordered on 31st, about mid day… and today the P1S is acknowledged by DPD to be on the way to me(from DE to CZ). So so far, pretty much as stated 1-3 business days to ship out.
I am not saying everything is great, I am still waiting for the additional hotend, PLA, etc. that is in the limbo(data provided to DPD by sender), but after reading the comments here I was getting super terrified. Let see if the printer will actually work and won’t be damaged(as someone else said).
I can’t remember the last time that I dealt with such a ANTI CONSUMER Company. Everything thing they do is designed not to be helpful to the consumer and design to benefit the company.
Look they restocked Microcenter and did nothing for some of the people waiting over a month. I guess they don’t care about them because they already have their money.
To be honest most of the people here will forget all about the problems once they get their orders. Companies know that
Still no update whatsoever on my November 27 A1/AMS Lite combo ordered to Canada. Originally estimated ship date was December 18.
Received an automated email on Dec 24 stating the printer would be shipped on Dec 30. Flash forward to today, Jan 3, and product has still not shipped.
This is laughably bad. I still haven’t been able to get support or any non-automated response from Bambu.
In the same position as yourself, I have a tracking number (UPS has not received the item) and this was the response I received…
“The package has been dispatched to the courier sorting center. Once the package reaches the courier sorting center, it must be promptly unloaded and scanned. Failure to do so will result in no tracking updates, and the carrier will report that the package was not received. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please rest assured that we are working tirelessly to expedite with the carrier, and will promptly provide you with the update.Your patience during this time is greatly appreciated.”
Waited 72hrs from when I received the tracking number to ask for another update. The worst part is being kept in the dark as another pointed out
Very silly response from Bambu there. Are they trying to imply UPS received the package and forgot to scan it? Out of a few hundred experiences with UPS, they’ve never failed to scan a package of mine.
Bambu gave me three-days to decide whether or not to cancel the order, based on a second shipping estimate (Dec 30) which turned out to not even be true. It’s clear all they did on that date was print a shipping label to ‘prevent’ cancellation. Who assigns 3-day deadlines while 16+ days behind themselves?
I’m fine with the wait, but there’s some rotten behavior going on here.
I’m lucky enough to have gotten everything I ordered now, but in the process I’ve switched to using other filament brands due to the unreliable nature of Bambu’s order processing. It’s only been a month or so, but Bambu has missed out on over $400 in filament sales just from me.
And to be honest, I’m happier with the new filament brands. I’m sure I’m not the only one who went through this, and a tiny little $10 discount code isn’t enough to win back my business.
If their warehouses were understaffed, that’s pointing to the issue of employees not getting paid enough, or the work environment being so hostile that the turn over is exceptionally high. Maybe both. I want to believe Bambu has learned their lesson, but I sincerely doubt that they are now offering higher pay and benefits, and reevaluating management at these locations.
I thought I’d point out another scammy thing Bambu is doing. Bambu requires signature on delivery for most orders unless you want to cancel the order. Then, they will send the printer signature not required so you can’t refuse delivery.
But like how do you know that it wasn’t just an error with your order? Also from what I know you can’t change whether signature is needed after you create a label.
Hello community, I received my printer and a separate package with spool filament almost a month ago
But I haven’t any package left waiting for delivery, and didn’t get any mystery box in the printer package nor the filament one
Soo… Is this normal regarding the delay ? It seems with the “New Year Sale” that mystery boxes are still in stock so I’m a bit confused… Should I open a ticket ?
The A, P & X series had a mystery gift for various times over two sales.
In each case while they were valid, the mystery gift shipped separately from the printer, often, but, not always with whatever extra items you purchased in addition to the printer which was sent separately.
Create a ticket and confirm when you ordered and ask them to send it.
sorry, it is an A1 combo
I bought it during the black friday sale
Thanks for your response !
I red the unboxing tutorial, and I saw some little boxes in the printer package that I didn’t have, while the slots are present but empty in the package
It’s eather a mini turbine or a vase slapped on it ? I thought it was the mystery box in question
Originally some printers came with a mystery gift which was the earliest hardware kits: light, clock, turbine engine etc.
At one point all A series had one, then they were sporadically provided, then rarely.
The sales had a mystery gift (yes, same name, confusing right) that was a collection of MakerSupply parts like tealights and magnets.
The A series had a mystery gift as part of the offer all the way to the end of the sale. I know as I bought the A1 mini combo to donate to a school. Granted I have only received the mystery box, the printer is still lost in transit over a month later.
Create the ticket and tell them you didn’t receive the mystery box and you want to know when it will arrive.
