Just putting it out there that I also would appreciate Bambu Lab Studio for iPad.
Does anyone offer a slicer for iOS? Just curious.
As a programmer who is now fairly familiar with the Studio code, I can tell you there is zero chance it will get ported to iOS in its current state. Keep in mind the original Slic3r from which it is derived was written before any existing tablet could even dream of running it (if there even were iOS/Android tablets back then). Some core parts of it could be re-used (like the actual slicing library, if keeping the GPL license), but most of it would need to be written from scratch.

Following up here, has there been any official word from Bambu Lab on an iPadOS version of Bambu Studio? It’s been a recurring request in this thread for a while now, and it would genuinely round out the ecosystem (Handy for monitoring, Studio for actually slicing/editing on the go). Would love to hear if this is even on the roadmap.

Even Bambu Handy doesn’t have horizontal view for my iPad Pro with keyboard. I can’t use it vertical without removing the keyboard case.
But sure Bambu Studio could be better alternative if possible.

This thread goes back to 2023 and Bambu STILL hasn’t scaled Bambu Handy for tablet/landscape… @BambuLab This is not a big ask from people and is a consistent and stable request across all platforms (Bambu forums, Reddit, Facebook, App Store Reviews, review websites…) You have a great product, act like it. *Re. Original thread, I too would also love an iPad version of Bambu Studios (even a lite) but lets get the existing software tuned first
One needs to remember that outside of North America Apple users are a minority.
Are you confirming that android app is formatted/scaled for android tablets?
That’s all well and good, but please don’t make excuses for something that simply isn’t there. This isn’t just about iOS or iPadOS. There is no proper Bambu Studio experience on Android tablets either.
Prusa literally showed its slicer running on mobile devices just a few days ago, so at this point the “Apple users are a minority” argument completely misses the point.
We’re talking about mobile support in general, both Android and iOS. For a company like Bambu Lab, with such a polished ecosystem, this is becoming pretty disappointing. Honestly, it’s starting to feel a bit insulting to users asking for a perfectly reasonable feature.
Unfortunately your requested feature requires starting from scratch. Is it possible? Sure. Is it a priority and a good use of limited resources? Probably not and I would not take that as a personal insult. Should you still voice your request? Yes.
