Bambu Order Seized by USPS For Counterfeit Postage

I ordered a set of nozzles on the 14th, and today, I received a shipping update that my package has been seized by the Postal Service.

“The package associated with this tracking number was found to bear counterfeit postage and is now considered Postal Service property under USPS regulations and will not be delivered. You are encouraged to contact the sender/merchant and/or your credit card company, as applicable, to seek a refund or other available recourse.”

Typically, my orders go from Houston to my front door in 24 hours or less, but this one went to Pittsburgh, PA to Warrendale, PA to White Plains, NY to Indianapolis, IN to “Seized.”

I spoke to live support and they assured me that this is normal, and I should receive my package after a postage assessment.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I’ll keep this updated…

Send a copy of the USPS seizure notification to Bambu’s customer support, see what they say…but be prepared to request a charge back to your bank…just to be on the safe side.

Someone on reddit posted this same thing happening yesterday. (unless that was you)

Sadly, I paid with gift cards…

Still worth a shot at Bambu’s customer support…maybe (emphasis on maybe):
a) they’ll sort your shipment out (they might), or
b) they’ll send you another shipment (unlikely, yet miracles do happen now and then), or
c) just let you to hang dry (that happens more often than not, according to those who got burned)…

What you’ve got to lose (more than what you’ve already lost)?

Congrats you just became a victim of someone pirating your shipping label. This happens when someone who likes scamming sniffs this valid tracking number (thru a variety of means that I wont get into here) and then inputs it as fraud into some sales app as they pretend to dropship fulfill an order to someone entirely else, nearby. It’s like shipping them a brick, but without actually having to make a shipment, in a way that tricks the payment vendors to processing the transaction. Edit: it normally will be ok, but they gotta stop for a moment and determine who cloned who

Not Bambu but Anycubic. I have screen protectors and fresnel lens. Ordered from them plenty of times yet mines being held as well. I get insufficient postage, and anycubic swears it’ll be here. Holding has never been an issue with any package.

I have it in mind that with the USPS click-n-ship online postage and those 3rd party vendors, something like this can happen. But this is the first time I ever heard about it. Good to know. I would have dismissed this kind of messages as phishing emails.

Just in case, OP probably should create a ticket to ensure someone in BL stays on top of it to avoid further delay.
