Hello I’m wondering if anyone else as noticed Bambu studio lag? For me it gets worse and worse as I go with slicing. It gets to the point to where it is absolutely un workable. I run Bambu Studio of a gaming laptop with great specs. If I run Orca it sliced way better but I feel more comfortable with BS to be honest.
I’ve had a few people say that it lags because it’s web based so I’ve tried running BS without wifi and i still get the same issue. I’m just asking if anyone has had the same issue and if there is a fix. Thanks
Welcome to the forum.
This isn’t true.
There has been memory leakage reported. It’s weird as people with high end systems seems to have more issues with this than people who are running much lower end hardware. The only time I start to see lag on my lowest end laptop (8gb ram) is when I have a 15+ plate file open.
If I have 15+ items on a plate is when I have issues. I topically don’t have more than a few plates. I’ll have to research memory leakage and see if this is what I’m having. Thanks for your response.
I am having issues with other applications while running Bambu Studios. More specifically, the mouse lags when using MS Edge, and MS Office applications. As soon as I close Bambu Labs, everything returns to normal. I am running a fairly high-performance machine so the machine itself is not the issue.
I just got the A1 printer and installed Bambu Studio. Mid-level Windows 11 laptop I use for coding and work without issues. The lagging is so bad, it’s basically unusable.
I saw on Github that the October 2024 update was supposed to fix the issue with newly occurring page faults. And it’s still being discussed as an ongoing issue.
Does anybody have an update or a fix for this?
I have projects I want to print and I can’t even arrange the items on the plate it’s so laggy. I’ve been trying to get this going for about 3 hours now for an overnight print and I fold. I give up.
i found problem like you How to fix ?
I’m not sure if it’s the same, but I opened Bambu Studio today after a few weeks not using it. It asked to update, which I did.
Now, I can’t use the tilt function anymore.
pan and zoom work flawless, but tilt isn’t doing much…
Anybody else having this issue?
Running I5 12600KF
32GB DDR5 RAM
Nvidia RTX 4070 Super
Already updated the video drivers, checked for windows updates and deleted en re-installed the latest version of Bambu Studio…
It’s very frustrating as I would like to check the supports and repaint them if necessary…
