Bambu Studio V1.4.0.17 will not slice PETG when using the Cool Plate that came with my X1- Carbon.
On the plate it call out PLA/PETG/ABS.
On the previous version it worked fine.
I have to use the other version or the PEI plate now.
I believe some people were having issues with PETG adhering too well to the cold plate. Taking bits of it with it during removal.
So they removed PETG from the recommended materials for the cold plate. It’s also no longer listed on the store page.
The replacement is the engineering plate which should be on the back side of the cold plate. You are correct that the labeling on the physical cold plate is wrong.
Here is a relevant thread:
If you go in the filament setting, you will see that the TEMP for cool plate is at zero. I have changed that parameters for 70 degree and it worked. I can print on the cool plate again.
