Thanks JayZay
I gonna down load it now.
I have few modells uploaded where the wrong project is referenced in the 3mf file. Very annoying. In Orca Slicer I can change some information but not everything. Is there a way to delete this information?
I can confirm Orca Slicer v2.1.1 does allow Project tab information addition and edit, except the cover image is acquired from the current build plate and not the chosen file location.
yeah same with the windows right now i cant send a print but on my app on my phone i can and see the cammera but in the windows studio nope and also my printer keep getting this error message after I updated the printer its a bambu lab x1 carbon and its the same one as in the studio
Bambu Studio 1.10.1.5 Project Tab editing information is still not fixed.
Any idea if and when this will be corrected?
In what way is it broken? As far as I know, Bambu wants the Studio Project tab information edited on Makerworld, and that works as they intend. Do not expect that to change.
If you want local editing of your projects, you will want to use OrcaSlicer. OrcaSlicer will let you open and edit project info from a Studio .3mf file, but it may not be be compatible with Makerworld. Studio may load only model geometry from an OrcaSlicer .3mf file., and it will complain about a MW project after it is edited in OrcaSlicer.
It’s been 2 years and the ‘solve’ hasn’t been re-implemented
Hi. It is solved. BL clarified that you can edit the info shown in Bambu Slicer’s “Project Section” using their platform MakerWorld.
Alternatively, you can use OrcaSlicer.
The promised solution and what is tagged as the solution (that you wrote) is an update to Bambu studio reimplementing the function. The makerworld method is a workaround not a solution. Editing a BS studio file in orcaslicer has unforeseen changes to the print settings. This is all wash rinse repeat of what’s been already said about this subject, I’m just not happy that this is marked solved when the solution never happened. Maybe update the solved post for future readers who check back on this subject from time to time
Hi,
My doubt was clarifying what happened to the project section, which disappeared in a BS update without any justification or mention.
I received an answer to the request that a solution would come in the future. I misinterpreted that the upcoming BS versions would bring the project section again, as asked on the Bambu Studio GitHub page.
Nevertheless, I soon understood from the events that they referred to the MakerWorld feature, not BS.
I don’t use MW to create or edit the project section. However, I also accepted that this feature isn’t part of BL plans.
I suggest that you open a feature request in the Bambu Software section requesting this feature. You will get my vote.
I never had issues with OrcaSlicer settings, but I´ve not done it recently so that things may differ.
Another solution is manually editing the .3mf content. I did it successfully, but I had many more failures and could never make it fully automated.
Orca slicer has it figured out. Why can’t BL get the Project tab working?
The Project tab information can be edited to list information about each part on the printer display; like part name, qty and part number. This is useful, in selecting a part to print in a print farm. We use SD cards to store print files for many parts.

Orca isn’t working for me. 2.1.1 or 2.3.0. If I change the project information and go to print the the file, it’s retained whatever original name there was on the project before. This is driving me crazy.
I still can change both author, model name and licence,
and add pictures, BOM, etc…
The only thing that I found locked is the model info from MW.
