BBL? What is the truth about the H2D?

I think it’s good that so many people have participated here, although I still don’t have a proper answer from Bambu Lab.

I haven’t been idle during this time and have looked at some other models from other manufacturers.

Since I already have the Pruser XL, because there is nothing comparable from Bambu Lab, I was able to see the Creality K2 Plus with four CFS in action at a good friend’s house last weekend.

The K2 impressed me not only with its size, but also with the fact that in some areas it is up to 15 percent faster than the X1C, which ran in direct comparison.

So I’m going to wait until the H2D comes out and look at some tests.

If I don’t think the price-performance ratio is right, I’ll probably make a complete switch, including selling my P1S.

And I can already say that I will not go below a size of 350 mm x 350 mm x 350 mm.

The Bambu lab H2D is real because they enlist a trademark here in canada

Old news, and registering a trademark doesn’t necessarily mean the trademarked product (if any) will also be made and sold (if ever). It could eventually turn out to be just an attempt that might or might not become a reality, or, just as well could turn out to be just an idea that might not take off from the concept. There are plenty of registered trademarks (and ideas) that have never left the drawing board. Time will tell if H2D will become a reality or not… Or Bambu might come up with something else entirely. We’ll see.

@BambuLab can we have a release date to expect the new printer and AMS by? I’ve been putting off buying the x1c until I know a little more about this new printer. I currently have the A1 mini, which is an awesome little work horse, but I have some projects that need a little more build volume😉

If you’re expecting a formal answer or statement from Bambu here, then you’re very much in the wrong place. Bambu is not very communicative nor very transparent here or on their blog… Last we’ve heard anything about the new printer from Bambu was from Tao, a brief “note” in an interview during Bambu’s attendance at 3d printing event in Germany…and the info was “sometime in Q1/25”… So either go for the X1C now (it’s well established, tested and patched), either keep waiting for the new one (not sure it will be Q1 after all) but bear in mind that the new one might require an adjustment period that could take several months to complete. Your money, your call.

That’s not “tariff pricing.” It’s the normal price without any holidays or discounts.

I want to know what the differences between the two AMS are, that is if the leaked photo is actually real, and there really is a a new ams. I’m in no rush though.

Can we remove the ability to bold text on the forum?

It feels like I’m driving down a smooth road and then hit the pothole section and it’s throwing me all over the place. I can’t wait to get past it to get to the smooth road again.

Nah, formatting when used properly is great tool for making text more readable. Just because some people can misuse it is no reason to get rid of it. It’s the same with everything.

I mean - for me, the politics is more jarring than bad formatting

I was being a cheeky thorn, but in all seriousness, for me it can be difficult to read. I wasn’t meaning to take way from Drakko’s post, as we do likely disagree on various things, but his underlying commentary on the specific issue is. Well it’s a sore spot for us in the country, haha. We’ve got some dollar store tools jamming everything up.

guessing it’s going to dry filament and have 2 filaments for each PTFE tube (2 output PTFE tubes) for the 2 nozzles.

That is a rather bold request… would you care to elaborate on that further?

And in other news… Not much left of Q1 2025  Tik tok…

Given that the new “security” “feature” is a joke, April 1st would be fitting

I want to replace my P1S, but I’m waiting for this new printer. Otherwise I’d have replaced it with another X1C already.

Don’t care what anyone says. For me, the X1C is the porridge that’s just right for me.
