Yeah, the cutting kit was a quick buy for me. It works fine (even minus the Bird’s Eye cam) on the standard H2D. I’ve used it for many things that are better made with neoprene and vinyl. Personally, I’m not interested in the laser function but really like the cutter.
Like the rest of the folks, I am patiently waiting for them to enable the camera on the standard H2D. A top down camera should make operations less wasteful, and easier to setup.
wait what? you push to have it “ON” and turn and pop for “emergency shutdown” ? Thats the opposite from what emergency switches are usually as in “its a big target you punch to shutdown fast AF” not fumble to turn it …
This is why I ordered one at the back end of last year when I heard a firmware update was upcoming to allow it. Just got to wait for the H2S firmware to be released now so I can use it.
Different use. The BE camera is only there for placing your material for cutting or laser and it’s only used for these operations on the printer. It is not used during printing so cannot stream the video like the regular camera does during printing.
