@MakerWorld It looks like the social preferences are not working for ratings.
This is an important feature to filter out failures due to inexperience.

NVMND, I found the setting.
I see this problem all the time. It’s really annoying to first have to block the user (I don’t want to deal with the hassle) and then have the comment or rating deleted.
Which it is only a few minutes to put in the report the comment, but it rubs me the wrong way that we have to do something despite making the conscious decision to opt out of it.

Which ok? Are there really that many people using older versions of handy or studio? Maybe, but it would surprise me considering my phone will constantly annoy me when there is a new update.

Yes, a small number of people using older versions, but surprisingly so many people using and rating on those versions that it causes an issue.
My complaints come from this being about the 20th time that I have received a rating from an account under the level 7 threshold.
The odds to not add up.

Did I really need to? One was just an example, not my entire complaint.
Can someone please point me to where I can enable this? I’m so tired of noobs rating my profiles for pla with 1 star and leaving comments “used asa did not work”

Ratings really dont matter because people do not know how to use the rating system. I still see a good amount of undetailed or stupid ratings from high level accounts.

im allways 10 years behind in technologic equipment, as good as possible…
my phone is 10 years old and its a used one… also my tablet…
only my computer is 6 years old…
the first thing i allways do is to delete everything it dont realy needs to function…
after that i remove the antivirus softwares and never make just one update as long as i can… i also dont have apps on my devices because of this… they dont allow it to work on an old but stil modern “smartphone”…
so i could imagine that there are many peoples who are far faar faaaar a f ing way from up to date…

In that context, I raised a similar issue towards MakerWorld. I think they sent me a standard reply. You can still rate things you’ve never printed - simply downloading them is enough, sometimes.
My “collection” of 3D models that I’ve never printed - I just downloaded them - and MakerWorld wants me to rate them. The Millennium Falcon and the Gome, for example, are from the last few weeks.
No, I didn’t print them and just forget about them - I’m not that old yet. 
The list is actually much longer, but here’s an example:
Newer users should be able to comment or rate a model based on non-printing parameters.
For example I see slingshots on makerworld labelled as bows or crossbows. This literally misleading and can cause legal issues in some countries. Any user should be able to comment and rate on something like that.

A rating should always be based on the performance of the printing parameters. Comments are for feedback on design. Is that the best way to have a rating system? No. But that’s the way it is.
As for the rest of this, I am not sure where you are coming from.
Why would someone print something just to leave a rating to complain that it was mislabeled? Also, in circumstances like your example, look at the page on where it is coming from, I have seen a few funky titles that were autotranslated from the chinese site.
Anyways, the comment section is not a place for a legal dispute.
I guess that leads to a moral question. Should the option be there to block users under level 7?
I am not going to make that call. That’s a different topic.
The point is that a “feature” that they implemented has some serious flaws.
