Earlier today I received an email that another user had sent a boost for one for one of my designs. However, this did not add a boost to my account, which I in turn can use to boost someone else’s design, like it normally does.
Have anyone else run into this same issue?
The only way to get boosts that you can give to other users is from Bambu. They are issued on Mondays and you earn them by printing directly from MakerWorld.
When another user gives you a boost it’s automatically converted to points on your account. Originally they weren’t automatically converted, they were stored until you manually converted them. It was changed a while back.
I don’t think the system ever worked where you could re-gift boosts given to you from other users.
When you receive a boost it’s automatically converted into points. Check your Points page, Transactions tab, and you’ll see the points you earned.
