My PS2 just started this, too. I’ve done all the checks, restarts, calibrations, and so on.
I can’t print unless I ignore it and resume.

What issue do you have exactly? If you don’t want the printer to auto detect the plate go to the printer settings and you can disable it. Here is the link for a support ticket: https://bambulab.com/es/my/support/tickets
The P2S does not recognize the plate marker. It was never an issue until today. Sad to have to disable it.
Is the camera clean? Is the plate marker clean? If you have the issue since you updated the firmware, try downgrading it, that should solve it
I bought a Bambu Labs plate to replace my original and got one from Bambu Labs that had a normal textured side and a smooth side, because I wanted to try a smooth plate. But my P2S won’t read it.
I wrote to support and they suggested I just disable the reader. Not the solution I was hoping for, especially since it is a genuine Bambu Labs plate. Bummer.
Some of the official build plates available in the store may offer a specific “P2S” plate in the selection. This is due to the P2S requiring the QR code printed on the plate to be a specific size and location which is different to other printers. The plate itself is no different in construction to non-P2S plates.
Hi Mariomart! Yeah, being new to all this I do err toward Bambu Lab, and that’s why I bit the bullet, ordered genuine from their store, expected it to work as advertised. Not to shut off the plate reader function.
Since that is Bambu Labs solution, maybe mine should be to not be so brand loyal?
