I have a filament clog in my AMS so I need to disassemble the AMS. However, I cannot remove the AMS spool tray from the enclosure. I have removed the cable, PTFE tube and 2 screws but the back left corner of the spool tray will not release from the enclosure. If anyone can give me any ideas, I’d appreciate it.
I was able to release/remove the tray by flipping the enclosure over and rapping on the bottom of the enclosure with the handle of a screwdriver.
There’s a T-shaped object over here, underneath where the rollers at the back meet:
If you squeeze it towards the front of the AMS, the unit then rotates out towards you. The wires connecting the unit to the body are quite short though.
Thanks for the tip but I had to be pressed too. The back left corner felt like the screw was still in place. I don’t know, maybe some wedged itself back there to make it difficult to come loose.
