Cannot perform Flow Calibration from AMS (v2.0.0.95 )

With Bambu Studio 2.0.0.95 on my P1S, it seems like I cannot select a filament from the AMS to perform a Flow Calibration:

All of my filament locations appear correct when I look a them on the ‘Device’ tab.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior? Am I doing something stupid here?! Thanks!

Yes, I also called this out in a recent post about the v2.0.0.95 release. I haven’t reported it, yet. I was trying to figure out how to roll back.
Edit: I have an X1C, so not unique to the P1S.

Ok, thanks! I submitted a bug report through GitHub

I just discovered this myself. Thanks for putting a bug report in on it.

mám podobný problém, ale hlavně při odesílání tisku nelze vybrat jiný filament v připravených slotech A1-A4. Už je to prý ale nahlášeno, tak snad brzy bude oprava

I have a similar problem!

After sending the flow calibration to the printer, I get an error like “failed ams mapping table”. I think they made things worse while trying to improve them.

I can work-around the initial issue of not being able to select a filament from the AMS for Flow Calibration (I can get past that by preloading the filament I want to calibrate using the ‘Load’ button on the ‘Device’ tab)…

But I am also getting the “Failed to get AMS mapping table” error like you @Tedash when I send the calibration print to the printer:

And it doesn’t fail with this error immediately, the hotend and bed heat up to full operating temperature and then nothing at all happens for several minutes before the error appears.

Even then, the hotend and bed stay hot until I cancel the job… it seems like this condition would persist indefinitely until the print job is cancelled.

I have also reported that in the GitHub bug report for this issue.

Thanks for reporting this error, my friend. I hope it will be resolved soon. By the way, I had a filament that I needed to calibrate while trying these. If you have a filament that you need to calibrate, for now, that is, until the problem is resolved, you can calibrate it by inserting your filament into the filament holder on the back of the machine. It does not give an error there. I wish you error-free printing!

Thanks for the tip! I hadn’t tried the external spool yet and I was getting a little nervous since I have to do some calibration as well!

I did everything trying to get this error to go away, including a factory reset on my printer. I had notes on most of my calibrated Pressure Advance values, but of course I lost some - I need to re-do those.

I was looking at other “Failed to get AMS mapping table” error reports and troubleshooting across many forums (unrelated to this update, but the same error). Some people saw this issue resolved by formatting their microSD card or using a new card. I tried both formatting my existing card and using a new one and it did not resolve the issue.

TL:DR If anyone else is thinking of trying resetting your printer to factory defaults and wiping your SD card to fix this - it is probably not worth your time in this case. It did nothing to resolve this for me.

Yes my friend I agree with that too. I just went and bought a new SD card but it didn’t solve my problem. I don’t think it’s worth trying either.

You are not seeing the “Failed to get AMS mapping table” issue when performing a flow calibration from the AMS?

I have firmware 01.07.00.00 on the P1S and 00.00.06.49 on the AMS

I am having the same issue. I am on a P1S with the latest firmware. If I try a calibration from AMS, it proceeds to 62% and hangs for a while, ultimately failing with the “Failed to get mapping” error.
I tried a factory reset and a different newly formatted SD card, and nothing helped.

I can do a calibration from the external spool holder fine.

It works in ‘LAN only mode’. Likely a cloud issue.

Im on A1 with AMS lite and I also cannot auto calibrate filament since the update only the external spool.

I am also experiencing this same issue.

I am so over BS and Bambu i mean every time they release an update its complete and utter ■■■■. I also cannot calibrate my filaments got a big project to complete and now im stuck… Bambu get your ■■■■ together.

This worked for me! Thank you!!!

lmao NOW you tell me… I did the same thing today. Fresh Starts are always fun.
